I’m so excited you decided to stop by and start browsing the new site! This intense rebranding project has been a long time coming (I started this process back in August) and I’ve faithfully and heartfully poured over every image selected and every word written to best serve YOU!

As with any business, over the years it can evolve. As a bit of a control freak, change seemed a bit scary to me. But to fully share my heart and showcase my gifts and passion for photography, it was TIME!

I started this journey with research. You may be thinking, “Research? Why?” I knew I wanted to find a brand and website designer that got ME, and also understood my mission, vision, and goals for my business. I had my eye on Harper Maven Design since I first viewed her website and social media platforms about two years ago. Her well thought-out designs beautifully showcased her clients’ work. It was very apparent that she got to know her clients and helped them define their business personality, but also displayed her designs in a functional and easy to navigate way. That’s EXACTLY what I wanted for my site. She listened to every idea I had and shared her experience and intentional design expertise. Guys, she is crazy talented!

I’ve spent the last few months in prayer, goal planning and trying to work through the craziness that 2017 created. Sometimes, as business owners, we need a little reawakening to really understand what we want for our businesses and our lives.

Here are some of the questions I’ve asked myself multiple times over the last 4.5 years since starting Hazel and Haze Photography.

*Why do I love photography?

*What do I love most about my business?

*How can I find balance between a passion so deep in me, but also allow focused time for family and building community/relationships?

* Where/How does God want me to use my gifts for Him and to help others?

A few tough questions, right? Ha!

With a new year, brings new goals and a refocus (and a rebrand + website).

I have never been so excited to have you follow along with me as I share my passion for photography. I hope I have the opportunity to capture more memories with you in the near future!
